Big Cove Outdoors was started by Jay and Carah Lynn Arnold in 2006. They have hunted and fished all over the world, including in Africa, Australia, and Europe, and throughout the US. They field-test and use the products they endorse. Jay is a lifetime member of Safari Club International and its Alabama chapter. He has also served as a member on the SCI Alabama board of directors. Jay is a member of Ducks Unlimited, Pheasants Forever, the American Sailing Association, the Lake Guntersville Sailing Club, and other outdoor organizations. He is an Eagle Scout, a private pilot, a member of AOPA and EAA, and an all-around good guy.
Carah Lynn's preference is fly fishing, and she has traveled across the world to wet her line. She is a member of Trout Unlimited, Henry's Fork Foundation, the Sierra Club, the American Sailing Association, the Lake Guntersville Sailing Club, and other outdoor organizations. She can often be found on the tennis court and is a member of the United States Tennis Association. She is a high school English teacher and reads profusely.
